'Times is', indeed, 'hard'... and, even if we're not actually struggling to pay our bills, we can't help wondering what will happen to property prices and how our kids will cope when that fixed rate mortgage ends this year...
If you (or someone you care about) are stretched to the limit and reaching the point where you're starting to miss payments, cast your eyes over 'What to do if you can't pay' on uk.msn.com - the article covers mortgages, rent, council tax, gas, water and electricity bills, credit cards and loan repayments. The general message is: communicate with the creditor, try to come to an arrangement and keep paying SOMETHING, even if you can't afford to pay the whole bill.

Hi Ann
I recently became a representative for a company called Cartel who have some refreshing DebtBusting solutions.
They have created this website for me www.ClaimWithJudith.co.uk and I would be delighted to offer any of your UK clients a free consultation about really modern and helpful debt solutions. (Apologies to anyone who lives outside of the UK!)
Best wishes,
Judith

If anyone in the UK is thinking of taking up Judith's offer (see above), I've known her for several years, she's a top bird, she knows her stuff and, although I have no personal experience of her debt-busting solutions, I would never hesitate to recommend any of her other services. (And, no, I'm not receiving affiliate commission from either Cartel or www.ClaimWithJudith.co.uk :-))
